We wanted to re-post Anthony’s article from the AELLA website, in regard to Rick Berman, as it pertains to all of us; not just animal rights activists, but those concerned about environment, as well as human rights issues. Time and again, I have witnessed people who claim to be animal rights activists sharing the website links and Facebook posts supplied by the groups Humanewatch or Petakillsanimals, simply because they do not care for PETA or the Humane Society of the United States.

Animal rights, human rights and environmental activists need to consider what they are promoting, before sharing links from such sources. Activists of any kind possess absolutely no business giving more exposure to “Petakillsanimals” and “Humanewatch”.

I really could care less about how much someone dislikes PETA or the HSUS. Sharing these websites or their respective Facebook pages makes an individual no friend to the animal rights, human rights or environmental movement. Humanewatch and Petakillsanimals are both owned and operated by one of the worst human beings on the face of the planet.

Rick Berman owns and operates both of these endeavors. He is a corporate lobbying human-molester who’s twisted agenda is based solely on keeping your money flowing into the hands of life-destructive interests.

Rick Berman has helped to ensure that the United States minimum wage does not elevate.

Rick Berman has worked to bust unions.

Rick Berman has promoted that the mercury in fish really isn’t that bad for you.

Rick Berman has promoted that tanning beds are good for you.

Rick Berman has consistently attacked Mother’s Against Drunk Driving.

Rick Berman promotes that trans-fat might actually clean out your arteries.

Rick Berman has promoted second-hand smoke as being “delicious”.

When the Corn Refiners Association needed a lobbyist to promote their idea to change the name of high-fructose corn syrup to “corn-sugar”, who do you think jumped on the band-wagon?

Rick Berman promoted that living conditions of chickens in the agricultural industry have nothing to do with whether or not diseases occur in animal agriculture and therefore, battery cages cause no one any harm.

Rick Berman attacks any activist groups which revolve around human, environmental and animal rights that have the potential to cost corporate interests money.

The supplied information on any of his websites is “spun” at best. If you feel the need to attack PETA, do your own research in regard to the matter and do not use information supplied by Rick Berman. There is nothing that Rick Berman will ever do that is for the benefit of humans, animals or this planet and you are NOT helping animals by promoting Petakillsanimals. Quite the opposite, I am afraid. Rick Berman doesn’t give a damn if PETA kills animals or not.

Individuals who share links from endeavors like Humanewatch and Petakillsanimals are giving Rick Berman exactly what he wants; exposure necessary to hurt the activist movement. Any pieces of information supplied by Berman And Company should be shunned by all activist communities.

A 40 year old Italian mother of three was arrested in Milan for posting on-line videos of herself using high-heeled shoes to kill baby chicks, mice and rabbits.

Unfortunately, as there is no clear and strong legislation against animal crush video in Italy, such as the Animal Crush Prohibition Act passed in the United States at the end of 2010, the woman was able to make a deal, pay €4,400(equivalent to almost $6,000), without even spending any time in prison.

The Milan court allowed the woman, whose identity is only being released as Anna B., to enter a plea bargain under a basic form of obscenity and/or animal cruelty, leading to a four months imprisonment penalty, which was converted into the fine of 4,440 euros, instead. The entire team at STOPCRUSH.ORG, every administrator in each nation, finds this penalty most unsuitable and inadequate to fit the crime.

This mother of four lives with her family in a terraced house in Rho(Milan). Again, whilst semi-nude, she crushed cockroaches, mice, chickens and rabbits with her high heels, then posted the sadistic death and perversion that she filmed on-line. She was identified by the police and reported to the Prosecutor of Milan.

The investigation began in 2006, when some animal welfare groups found her videos on-line and alerted the police. It was reported by Lav, the Anti Vivisection League, a group that has been concerned in regard to the spread in Italy of animal crush videos. The team at STOPCRUSH.ORG has always shared that concern in regard to every nation which does not have strict legislation in place against the videos.

“A serious and horrific crime involving the killing of animals committed by an unsuspectable housewife, guilty of brutally crushing and killing animals for the sole purpose of filming their agony,” said the Lav in a statement.

Authorities have already shut down the woman’s website. Computer Forensics were attempting to trace the woman for some time, however, she was very hard to follow, as she would close down her site and reopen a different site with another domain containing the same horrific content.

In light of this “slap on the wrist” penalty, the team at STOPCRUSH.ORG would like to take this moment to extend, once again, an offer of cooperation with all animal rights groups in Italy(in all nations, to be precise) in an effort to urge authorities in said nations, to enact felony-strength legislation against the creation, sale, purchase or distribution of animal crush video. A fine of €4,400 with no prison sentence is not a sufficient penalty for the production of this prurient horror.

#1. Go to our Facebook “REPORT ABUSE” page HERE and report the links to the depictions directly to the FBI as a violation of the Animal Crush Prohibition Act of 2010, then report to INTERPOL. Both links are available on the STOPCRUSH.ORG “REPORT ABUSE” page. Make sure to mention that these depictions are being housed on Facebook wherever the form asks “where these abusive images or videos were discovered”, even if it is obvious that the links will direct authorities to Facebook.
#2. Please send us or, if you prefer, another animal rights organization that you trust, the links to the depictions along with a copy of the Animal Crush Prohibition Act of 2010, which can be found HERE at GOVTRACK.US(not necessary to send to us) in case these organizations do not know that it is now a Federal offense to produce, purchase, own or distribute animal crush video, including housing on-line on a U.S. based server, or streaming it into the United States. The connection from sources outside the United States can be permanently blocked.

What else can you do?
Write your Congressperson and/or Senator asking them why this law, which you helped fight to enact, is not being taken as seriously as it should! This is animal torture pornography, in the same category as child pornography, and it needs to be eradicated! Send them the links to these depictions BEFORE getting upset and simply reporting them to Facebook. Facebook will do absolutely nothing but remove the depictions. Go directly to USA.GOV HERE to find your Congressional and Senatorial representatives.

With humility and respect, we write to you in an attempt to ask that you publicly condemn the horrific underground industry that fuels the animal crush interest. It is our belief, that your word would hold great strength against those who generate these detestable, society degrading depictions. Whilst there are laws against specific animal cruelties that could apply to the acts within animal crush video in certain nations, there are few to no specific laws against the videos, themselves, save for the legislation recently enacted in the United States and Greece.

If you do not yet know what animal crush video is, we will include part of a statement made by one of our co-founders, which was recorded in an educational video that we use to spread awareness:

“The videos generally feature, but do not limit themselves to, small live animals, such as kittens, puppies, mice and bunnies being slowly tortured in the most horrific ways imaginable.
They are burned alive, cut with pruning sheers, nailed to the floor, skinned alive, beaten, stabbed and most often, they have their limbs crushed and broken, just to invoke more screams of agony.
The majority of these videos share a common theme, the animals are incrementally crushed by scantily clad women in high heels. Those who purchase these videos, view them for sexual gratification. Basically speaking, the animal crush interest is an atypical sexual arousal toward the the horrific torture and distress of another life-form.”

The animal crush interest has been steadily rising in poularity, the more exposure the videos have garnered through internet means. This was a part of the reason why the United States passed the Animal Crush Prohibition Act of 2010 and Greece has followed with its own legislation against the vile interest. The videos obviously consist of simply horrific and detestable prurient sadist torture. If “evil” does exist in this world, this is one of its manifestations. The same could be said of the actions connected to serial murderers, but as many about the world might agree, they are really one in the same.

There is no limit to what some animal crush “consumers” will ask to see tortured, however, they generally seem to enjoy animals that are most connected to childhood love and joy, such as puppies, kittens, bunnies, etc… and the crush producers are more than willing to supply these videos. Those working with the STOPCRUSH.ORG initiative have done extensive investigation and we have found that the animal crush producers can be based in any nation, peddling their sadistic “wares” to anyone in the world who will purchase them. Those who do purchase them and are “aroused” sexually by the torture of another life-form, need not walk the same streets as our children, or defenseless animals, for that matter.

We have stumbled across videos featuring horses, turtles, monkeys; again, there is no limit to the depravity or the depths to which these “humans” will go. We have even found videos where men have unearthed the graves of human babies and crushed their skulls on camera. Other men pay large sums of money to watch these videos for sexual gratification. Something must be done to help influence governments around the world to take a stronger stance against this detestable industry.

The torture in the videos that feature live animals can last a very long time. It is more preferable to those who view the depictions, for said torture to last as long as possible before the animal is finally killed. Some last anywhere from 20 minutes, to an hour. Others are said to have lasted up to 3 hours. It is difficult to fathom, the suffering involved, and this would all depend on the manner of torture involved. In recent years, animal crush producers have been giving the option to their “consumers” as to which form of torture, to which animal they would like to see killed, and by what “type” of woman. Again, they generally do try to keep the animal alive and screaming, for as long as possible.

What the STOPCRUSH.ORG initiative and citizens about the globe are asking from all nations, is to completely outlaw animal crush video, on the internet and off-line, as well. Each nation must develop a “no tolerance” policy against the production, sale, distribution, or purchase of these videos, enact felony legislation against them in the same way most nations have a “no-tolerance” policy in regard to child pornography. It is the only way to close all “loop-holes” and root these serial murderers from our society. This is not a matter of “free-speech”, as some would argue. These videos are not of animal husbandry, nor do they contain any scientific, educational or artistic value. They are generated explicitly for the purposes of exploiting, torturing and murdering and innocent life for the prurient interest of the viewer.

We must stress that there is no specific place that animal crush video originates from. Animal crush video is produced in many nations, all over the world and the internet is rife with it. Our children can find animal crush video at the click of a computer mouse button. There are still a few major animal crush producers underground, right here in the United States, where again, law has been generated against them. Some of them are in Asia. Some are in Europe. They are simply in many nations and in all corners of the globe. Likewise, undercover investigation performed by the team has revealed that animal crush video is available for “under-counter” purchase at video shops in some countries.

A former United States FBI agent named Robert K. Ressler, who is a psychological profiler of violent offenders, is credited with coining the term, “serial killer”. Ressler stated that murderers very often start out by killing and torturing animals during childhood. Obviously, those who commit animal abuse, show symptoms of severe mental disturbances. Ressler’s research in psychology/criminology opened the door to the connection between those who commit acts of cruelty against animals, and those who commit violence against humans. Almost every profiled serial murderer had a history of violence against animals in their youth, which elevated to enacting said violence upon humans.

Obviously, the specific sexual gratification or “arousal” that crush “consumers” garner from the depictions are quite atypical. This is not “normal” behavior and these individuals are simply dangerous to any living being around them. What they see in the specific torture that causes such arousal, is quite a foreign concept to any well adjusted, caring human being, however, it is obviously connected with having control over another life-form and the ability to take said life away.

The STOPCRUSH.ORG initiative is growing, however, we are still very much a “grass-roots” effort. We consist of individuals from several races, many nations, varied spiritual beliefs, and we respect one another. It was suggested from within, that we attempt to contact you on this matter. The public word from world-admired spiritual leaders toward their people could help turn the balance against these killers, making society a safer place for our children, as well as innocent animals.

For years now, AELLA’s STOPCRUSH.ORG initiative has been fighting to show governments that animal crush video is not “free-speech”. This is about a tv show called “Black Out”, in this game, participants undergo various tests in total darkness including touching live creatures such as reptiles, insects, birds and sometimes small mammals.

And the “funny” element is supposed to result from the “fright-screaming” of the contestants. Unfortunately they are not the only ones who are scared, these unfortunate creatures are forced to participate in an unnatural for them status.

SAPT Hellas (Dogs therapeutic contact) complained about this to the Tv station via their Programme Officer, Christina Economou, since the SAPT has received a complaint about how the players on this tv show behave in wretched animals.

The Panhellenic Federation of Environmental and Animal Welfare and the Panhellenic Coordinating Committee align with animal welfare associations,and together with all those anonymous viewers, reacting to this TV garbage.They have addressed to the Prosecutor of First Instance of Athens denouncing the commercial exploitation of animals for the sake of “entertainment”.Sometimes changing the channel simply is not enough!

The game that will bring to light the biggest of your fears has started … in complete darkness. Tests you can not even imagine even in your wildest dreams, traps reminiscent of scenes from movies, objects that you will not ever dare to touch, living creatures that make the most courageous to tremble in fear … came to wreak terror on a environment that requires all senses operating fully, except for the sight. If you think you have daring, risk, courage, humor and are constantly alert … try it and you know, you could be the dark guy, who will win the big prize money and will eventually come out of the “Black Out” .. white-faced!

THE ACTUAL TRUTH ABOUT “Black Out” IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT:

“Living creatures that make the most courageous to tremble in fear,” is in fact reptiles, insects, birds or small mammals brutally abused, incarcerated in a bowl and enduring the loud cries of “courageous “players.

Freedom of speech has its limits when it comes to exploiting conscious living beings. Shows like these promoting the exploitation and torture of sentient creatures have no place in a civilized country.

We have a message for the broadcasting team, the “courageous players” who have taken or will take part in, and all who attend and support the “Black Out”: It is your right to believe that we are “graphic animal lovers”, but you should however be aware that ACCORDING TO THE LAW, this game is illegal. The law for animals passed by the Plenum of the House on January 31, 2012 is clear:

Article 12 – Ban of use of every kind of animal in any kind of entertainment and other similar businesses:

1. It is forbidden to maintain any kind of animals in circuses or theaters with a variety program, given that the animals are used in any way and for any purpose in their program, performing, parading, or appearing in front of an audience.

2. It is forbidden to maintain any animal in entertainment shows, amusement parks, in motor racing circuits, concerts, exhibitions, fairs, or other artistic or recreational festivals, given that the animals are used in any way and for any purpose in their program.

Also, when it comes to the Article 16 (Article 16-Animal Abuse) of the same law, it is clearly stated that:

a. Subject to specific cases provided of existing EU and national legislation, and the provision of third sentence of paragraph 4 of Article 9, prohibits the torture, abuse, bad and cruel treatment of any kind of animal, and any act of violence against them especially as poisoning, hanging, drowning, burning, crushing and amputation. The sterilization of the animal and any veterinary practice for therapeutic purposes is not considered amputation.

b. Is prohibited, except in cases of films and audiovisual material for educational purposes,the sale, marketing and presentation-trafficking through the Internet any audiovisual material such as video or other type of film or photographic material, which shows any act of violence against animals, and sexual intercourse between animals or between animals and humans for profit or sexual gratification of people who attend or participate in them. In this prohibition is also included the case of fighting between animals.

c. In case of injury of a pet animal in a car accident, the perpetrator of this act shall immediately notify the appropriate municipality in order to give the injured animal the necessary veterinary care.

Your site displays the brutal treatment of animals appearing in the game for profit, and therefore, under the second paragraph of Article 16 and in conjunction with Article 12 of this Act, this is illegal.

Finally, trampling living beings refers to the phenomena of crush. According to the first paragraph of this Article, crushing animals (crush) is a form of abuse and is punishable severely. The law does not refer to crushing insects or fish, but all of you who applaud the “Black Out”, should consider yourselves as instigators, supporting the heinous, crush phenomena occurring in our country.

We call on all the coefficients of the TV station ANT1 for the IMMEDIATE cessation of transmission of the remaining episodes this season. We also demand that any production of new episodes for next season will be canceled.

A similar letter will be sent to the Appeals Prosecutor of Athens.

The new law for animals was passed in Greece and the Greek chapter’s proposals to ban animal crush video were accepted! In Article 16(abuse of animals), animal crush videos have been added, along with bestiality and specific animal abuse on the Internet.

The Article is as follows and please remember that this is translated from Greek:

Article 16

Abuse of animals

a. Subject to specific cases provided of existing EU and national legislation,

An animal protection bill has been introduced into the Greek legislative process that may include law against animal crush video. We have worked with a number of animal rights organisations in Greece to press the need for such legislation against animal crush video. This was a collaborative effort and a very rewarding process. We will soon know if animal crush video(among other animal abuses) will be outlawed in Greece. Please sign the petition to the United Kingdom’s Parliament - outlaw animal crush video by enacting legislation with severe penalties HERE.

Why This Is Important?

Animal crush videos generally feature, but do not limit themselves to, small live animals, such as kittens, puppies, mice and bunnies being slowly tortured in the most horrific ways imaginable.

They are burned alive, cut with pruning sheers, nailed to the floor, skinned alive, beaten, stabbed and most often, they have their limbs crushed and broken, just to invoke more screams of agony.

The majority of these videos share a common theme, the animals are incrementally crushed by scantily clad women in high heels. Those who purchase these videos, view them for sexual gratification. Basically speaking, the animal crush interest is an atypical sexual arousal toward the the horrific torture and distress of another life-form. The sick, twisted, prurient animal crush industry has become increasingly popular all over the world. It will continue to escalate the degradation of our society if nothing is done to curtail the sadistic underground industry.

It is not as difficult as one might believe, to find websites that house animal crush video on the internet. Some mask themselves within pornography websites where minors can access these materials with the click of a mouse button. Freedom of speech has its limits when it promotes violent criminal acts and places a society in danger. Please realize that those who are capable of such acts of violent behavior, do not always limit themselves to brutality against animals.

There is nothing socially redeeming about animal crush videos or animal torture videos used for entertainment purposes and the people who produce, buy or distribute them, are simply dangerous.

Consider the effect that animal crush video has on both human and nonhuman lives in a society on a global scale. It causes a desensitization toward life, in general and whilst there are many factors that contribute to the generation of the serial killing mind, nearly all serial murderers share a common history of animal abuse, in their youth.

Child pornography is obvious violence against children and it was banned for blatantly promoting heinous, illegal acts. Films that exploit, torture and kill anything for sexual entertainment purposes have absolutely no place in a civilized society. A child can be severely emotionally damaged by these forms of depictions and that can lead to mental disorders or antisocial behavior.

U.K. citizens, you may also contact your M.P. in order to garner their support for an effort against animal crush video. The UK is divided into twelve electoral regions made up of the nations and regions of the UK. Each region has between three and ten MEPs and each MEP in a region represents each person living there:

Eastern – 7, East Midlands – 5, London – 8, North East – 3, North West – 8, South East – 10, South West – 6, West Midlands – 6, Yorkshire and Humber – 6, Wales – 4, Scotland – 6, Northern Ireland – 3.

We would like to set the record straight for those who love to blame all animal abuse on the Chinese people with continued labeling of the animal crush epidemic as being the “product” of the nation of China. The truth of the matter is that most animal crush video actually does not originate in China and quite frankly, there are more animal crush producers/distributors based in your own “backyard” than you may wish to know about.

Many of you may have seen specific videos with Asian women in them that have been used to make the majority of the mainstream banners and press anti-crush campaigns in the past few years. A good portion of these banners were initially compiled and passed on to others by Stopcrush.org during the period in between the dismantlement of the original section 48 of the Constitution(Depictions of Animal Cruelty) and the placement of the Animal Crush Prohibition Act of 2010 to amend that travesty.

We can vouch for the fact that there are crush cells all over the world, “employing” women of all creeds and cultures, however, the crush producers/consumers do seem to have a penchant for young Asian girls(not necessarily even Chinese girls, although, obviously racists wouldn’t know or care in regard to the difference). There are multiple thousands of specific animal crush videos that are currently in existence and circulation. Simply because you have only seen photo stills of or a few specific animal crush videos and they have Asian women in them, this does not mean that most animal crush producers are in fact, Asian, because they are not.

You may or may not care for the Humane Society of the United States. Whether you do or do not, is no matter in regard to this specific issue. They put a great deal of funding into researching animal crush video with a study back in 1999 and found over 3,000 separate videos from all over the world that were readily available for download, even then. This has always been a global epidemic, not a racially specific one.

Many of the women “featured” in animal crush video are underage and a great deal are abducted, raped, beaten, drugged and eventually, they “disappear”. Some of these young women are victims, as much as they are anything else. True, some are not. Some have been known to create sites of their own, such as the group of young females crushing bunnies from nearly a year ago out of China, to which the Chinese people reacted with great anger and had them shut down. There is much more to the issues surrounding animal crush video than you may realize.

To be brutally honest, the most well known crush producer on the planet is of European origin and he also seems to have a penchant for “utilizing”, however, not limiting his tastes to, young Asian women. He is not easy to track. Neither are the animal crush producers/distributors here in the states, or in other countries, who work with him.

Regardless, if you remove the “model” in the videos, she will be replaced, forcibly by crush producers, if needs be, thereby making the point a moot one.

Some of you, who have gone undercover to expose these crush producers and consumers, will understand what we are attempting to relay. Those who simply see the woman in the video and scream for her death(which is an understandable first reaction…please do not think that we are judging you harshly, as this is a horrific subject) have yet to realize the full scope in regard to this issue. We have investigated it, dealt with it, vomited over it and fought against it for years.

These people, animal crush producers and consumers, have severe psychological dysfunctions. If you are under the impression that their their illness is limited to inflicting brutalities upon animals…you are seriously mistaken.
