Possible legislation against animal crush video in Greece!

An animal protection bill has been introduced into the Greek legislative process that may include law against animal crush video. We have worked with a number of animal rights organisations in Greece to press the need for such legislation against animal crush video. This was a collaborative effort and a very rewarding process. We will soon know if animal crush video(among other animal abuses) will be outlawed in Greece. We would especially like to give a HUGE shout out to our amazing “Little Wolf” in Greece, Gianna Katirtzoglou, who has worked tirelessly for the Greek chapter of Stopcrush.org. “It must be added to the concept of abuse the abandonment of the animal by his owner and the violation of the rules on animal welfare,also the training of animals with choke chains should be considered abuse and generally any act of violence for that purpose.

We welcome, Mr. Minister,the fact that came the question of the Internet(that animal abuse on internt was added) because it is really creepy what is being traded and I imagine (the other Members have said it yesterday) that you are aware of the issue and like us you were informed from people who deal with these issues.

Καλώς μπήκε κύριε Υπουργέ το ζήτημα του Διαδικτύου διότι είναι ανατριχιαστικά πραγματικά αυτά που διακινούνται και φαντάζομαι(το είπαν και άλλοι συνάδελφοι εχτές)ότι είστε γνώστης του ζητήματος και πως ενημερωθήκατε και εσείς όπως κι εμείς από τους ανθρώπους που ασχολούνται με αυτά τα θέματα.
